Please note: The eco icon ratings above refer to the kit case only. This Eye Wash Station includes a kit case that is made from 70% recycled content plastic. Incorporating recycled materials in the manufacture of high volume production processes like this is a great step forward and goes some way to making these kinds of products more eco-friendly, but there is still a lot more progress to be made. The actual contents of this kit pose a real challenge from an eco perspective. The majority are manufactured in China and are currently individually wrapped in virgin plastics to ensure sterile conditions are maintained. So, this product is a good step in the right direction, let’s hope that more sustainable kit contents will follow in the near future.
