This ready seeded log produces 2 or 3 crops of your favourite edible mushrooms every year. A perfect outdoor eco gift. The log arrives with the spores already inserted and with growing instructions.
Easy to care for - simply lie with one end elevated in a shady spot, and keep moist.
You can see the first harvest after 9 months, depending on the time of year planted and weather conditions. Will yield from 2-3 harvests per year.
A unique garden gift.
The log is best stored in a cool garage or shed, or outside, and may be brought inside for a couple of days, as long as they aren't placed near a radiator or a fire.
Log size: approx. 50cm long x 10-15cm diameter.
Choose from three varieties:
Shitake - A favourite with chefs all over the world due to the rich, smokey taste and meaty texture.
Oyster - A popular mushroom being used in restaurants and hotels. Also gaining recognition for beneficial health giving properties.
Winter mushrooms - This small brightly coloured mushroom is surprisingly flavoursome. Perfect for soup, gravy and omelettes.
