Our organic pocket-sprung mattress combines fine organic materials with luxurious levels of comfort and support. Its 100% organic construction is completely free from the potentially harmful toxins and allergens that are common in many synthetic fibres and all processes are inspected and verified by The Soil Association.
This is the ideal mattress if you are accustomed to sleeping on a sprung mattress. Pocket sprung means lots of small springs in packets instead of rows of large springs meaning there is minimal movement in the mattress when you move and the individual springs support your body all the way along.
Made using organic wool means it breathes well, helps regulate temperature and discourages dust mites which are known to aggravate allergies and asthma. Resilient and durable, organic wool is environmentally friendly, and kinder to sheep.
Mattresses are built up of layers of materials with different properties and densities to give you the right combination of support and comfort. The wool used for the different layers is organic and comes from Welsh farms. The mattress is hand finished with a hardwearing 100% organic cotton cover.
The combination of organic cotton and organic wool passes fire retardant tests without the need for chemical treatment.
