A natural latex mattress is top of the range luxury in eco-conscious sleeping.
Latex is a natural product extracted from a Heava tree, rather like the sap from a rubber tree.
This mattress is much denser than a pocket sprung mattress and cradles your body. It is entirely metal free and is produced using high quality, natural latex. As it has no metal springs, there is no transfer of movement over the mattress, so you won’t disturb the other person in the bed when you get up.
The latex mattress passes fire retardant tests without the need for chemical treatment, so you can sleep and breathe easy. As well as being extremely resilient and hardwearing, natural latex is also naturally anti bacterial, anti fungal and discourages dust mites. There are ventilation columns set within the construction for temperature control.
The latex is wrapped in several layers of organic Welsh wool and finished with a hardwearing 100% organic cotton cover.
